Hakiza Augustine

He works as a Research officer from 2024, but also served as an assistant instructor between 2019 and 2024 at Uganda Wildlife Research and Training Institute. He is a candidate of Master of Science in Biology (Natural Resources Ecology Management and Conservation) at Mbarara University of Science and Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology from Makerere University and a Diploma in Wildlife and natural resource Management from Uganda Wildlife Research and Training College.

He has strong expertise in wildlife ecology and behaviourial studies, with particular skills in bird species identification and taxonomy. He is also experienced in conservation education and community engagement, experimental design, and field data collection, report writing, and project planning and management.
