Siya Aggrey
Siya recently submitted his PhD that focused on ecological preferences of bats and opportunities for conservation within Mount Elgon Biosphere Reserve, Uganda. Additionally, he holds two masters degrees (in Global Development and the other in International Infectious Diseases Management). He also holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science and two postgraduate diplomas (in Global Development and the other in Project Planning and Management)
Siya’s research falls within Ecohealth / One Health. Consequently, he collaborates with a wide array of colleagues including pathologists and economists to advance wildlife conservation. Siya is a Review Editor for many journals including Frontiers Climate and Health journal; BMC Infectious Diseases, BMC Public Health, among others. Regarding countries, Siya has experience working in; Mauritius, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. He has mentored over 10 students at different levels.
